Esoteric and Exoteric Information

"Thus, SYMBOLS CAME TO HAVE TWO MEANINGS, the esoteric and the exoteric. The
ESOTERIC meaning was the true or original meaning, UNDERSTOOD BY ONLY A FEW and
closely guarded by them. The exoteric meaning was the invented, or modified,
explanation intended for the many. The sacred mysteries, which are often mentioned
in connection with many ancient religions and which were closely guarded by the
initiate, concerned esoteric meanings in the religions of previous times. These
sacred mysteries very often were merely continuations of the simpler forms of
early sex worship carried on by a select few." Charles G. Berger, Our Phallic
Heritage, 1966, p.48.

Are those who join freemasonry as new members deliberately deceived? Here is a quote from their book only to be seen by the 33 degree members of that society:  "The blue degrees are the outer court of the portico of the Temple. Part of the symbols are displayed to the initiate, but he is intentionally misled by false interpretations. It is not intended that he shall understand them, but it is intended that he shall imagine he understands them. Their true explications reserved for the Adepts, Princes of Masonry." p819 Morals and Dogmas"

Esoteric and Exoteric information refers to one set of information given to a larger "un-initiated" mass of a  group and a conflicting, and almost opposite set of understanding is held with a hidden meaning or adgenda only known by that same group's "insiders". These "insiders" think of their "uninitiated" and lower rank supporters and members as "Goyim" or "cattle".  It is unconscionably arrogant toward trusting underlings, employees, members, and supporters outside the "initiate" circle.

When this behavior is to intentionally deceive people, it is socially unacceptable only to those who practice a  "Western", Bible based culture.  Outside the Bible, this behavior is just as valid as any other behavior because standards are set by each individual.

Very good examples of this phenomenon can be read about in "Morals And Dogma" whereby the insiders have a diametrically opposite knowledge than what is espoused to coax and fool supporters and new members:

  • "Masonry, like all the Religions, all the Mysteries, Hermeticism and Alchemy, conceals its secrets from all except the Adepts and Sages, or the Elect, and uses false explanations and misinterpretations of its symbols to mislead those who deserve only to be misled; to conceal the Truth, which it calls Light, from them, and to draw them away from it." (Albert Pike, "Morals and Dogma," page 104)
Masons are not given the "Morals and Dogma" handbook till they pass the 33rd degree. You can view youtube interview clips of a 32nd degree mason being totally blindsided by the fact Masonry was anti- Christian at the insider level and being totally unaware of this quote I just gave you above.

On the surface, Freemasonry looks wholesome. There is fellowship, loyalty, and the support of good causes such as burn units in hospitals. The masonic motto is "Making good men better".

Few men understand what they are getting into when they become Masons. Most Masons join because they trust friends, family members, or church members who invite them. Others join for business connections or political votes. Some men join because of masonic charities. Most men who join have no idea that, during their initiation, they will be required to make solemn blood oaths. (...read more)

I intend to post a short lecture clip on this subject from Walter Veiths in the near future. I encourage you to google "Walter Veith" videos and view them in he mean time. Veiths lectures are fascinating.
